A fire that never loses its flame

April 20, 2017

NEW Leadership ignites fires within our student leaders every year. Every guest speaker passes torches and the cycle continues because of your support and donations that help these passionate and fiery diverse causes never lose flame. We have one more day for our goal. Share with friends this amazing cause!

Evening reflections among prospective leaders

April 18, 2017

Each day of the conference week is spent processing new found information about one's self and the status of social issues currently affecting our Nevadans. The 25 student leaders selected every year are wholeheartedly learning and cherishing these moments of growth. Cristina Hernandez in our clip below has served as a Faculty in Residence multiple of times because she is devoted in each class and the program's opportune place in our state. We thank you for allowing prospective leaders to come together in this rare opportunity to reflect on uninhibited potential.

Over 200 Strong Alum and the Herstory of Progress

April 17, 2017

As the days closer and closer, we are so thankful for donors that have joined us in trying to meet our deadline. We are gracious of the scholarships being built up for our class of 2017 professional leaders. We accept 25 top student leaders who are willing to learn. NEW Leadership NV shall mold them into lifelong leaders. Thanks for believing in us. We urge you to tell a friend about us and our Rebel Raiser that ends in about 3 days, so we can continue to ripple change among our state of Nevada.

Below is a sentiment expressed by 2007 New Leadership Alum Judi Lynn Brown who now serves as Partner and Chief Impact Officer of CivicMakers, "solving public problems with empathy."

A cause as common as the women who are in our lives

April 14, 2017

NEWL Alum Gregan Wingert puts simply how this program's existence is pertinent to each woman in your life now. Thank you to those that recognize the necessity of an educational leadership program in the state of Nevada.

Signatures of greatness

April 14, 2017

This picture is more than a decade ago and among every important colorful signature are leaders who are conscious of their power in their respective communities. Behind each smiling young face is now a powerful community activist, university faculty member, attorney, deputy bureau chief, executive director, high level assistant, and deputy director. They started here in our program with greatness already within, and NEW Leadership helped them unleash the unstoppable influence they will have among their beloved causes. We thank all our supporters who allow this program to kickstart greatness.

Dollars Directly to Students

April 13, 2017

Former Program Manager and Alum of NEW Leadership Alma Castro knows first hand the growth of supporting the program. Hear her testimony about the truth of our funds! We thank you donors for sharing this same vision.

We thank you for your generosity and we want you to know that every range of effort is deeply impacting each student. Our success is in our alum and they have been giving back the moments to this new class in small, beautiful ways.

Bound by a Bond

April 04, 2017

NEWL 2010 Alum Kristin Guthrie explains the diversity and intersecting connections during the conference week experience. She has grown to help this city in her new roles after the program and now is serving as Faculty at Nevada State College and the Management Analyst II for Building and Safety at City of Las Vegas Government.

Meeting Us Halfway

March 28, 2017

Thank you so far to our donors that have helped us reach 52% of our goal. Our alumnae of this program continue to operate outside of this intense week of workshops since its inception in 2003! Here's a piece of sentiment from one of our alum during her week of this empowering program in 2003,

“NEW Leadership Nevada is a necessity. The successful women speakers who come to help out at this program and share their wisdom know of its importance. They come to ensure that the next generation of Nevada women know the shoulders upon which they can stand.”

Brandi Powell// Now working as Anchor/Reporter with KSTP-TV (ABC Affiliate) in Minneapolis

Help us help keep positive mentoring alive for student leaders!

Attitude of Gratitude! from NEWL

March 27, 2017

NEW Leadership is thankful for its diverse and generous donors. Donating money, donating time, and donating energy to empower this program throughout the years since 2003. We are grateful for anything you share with us. Please continue to share our link and mission with friends and colleagues, looking to keep the development of women's interests thriving in our state.

Here's a picture of happiness and hugs during the Program Week. Students and mentors mutually inspired and thankful for having this program platform.

The impact of gratitude from Student Leader to Leading Students

March 24, 2017

NEW Leadership NV leadership program for college women has assisted over 260 college women across the state to focus on achieving their potential. We have testimonies across the state and across the nation of how the program gave students the tools and confidence to go further than they thought possible.

Linking Together

March 22, 2017

As much as we appreciate each donor or potential donor helping our fund, we hope you also share this link. This program is going to benefit the people in our community in a variety of ways. Empowering any and all young leaders interested in women's development gives mentors a platform to teach and place for students to listen. Here at NEW Leadership we urge proactive change. Our alums have been doing amazing things since 2003 by joining or initiating great causes all across the state. We thank you, and we thank you with activism!

Choose a giving level

Thank you! This will help provide refreshments and snacks throughout the week for our student leaders as they undergo conference week. So help feed a student while we help feed their minds!

Thank You! This cost will help with the preparation and printing of all student workshop binder materials to help aid students in retaining information even after the week is completed. This is THE binder that will BIND HER mentorship contacts and leadership notes!

Thank you! This cost will cover a room for one day shared by two student leaders. There are 6 days of the conference and an eternity of leadership memories these leaders will cherish when done!

Thank you! A gift at this level helps pay for the space to hold workshops and welcome mentors to speak with the student leaders. Every seat will be filled by someone wanting to learn.

Thank you! This helps cover the cost of three meals for 6 days for one student. While these leaders are hungry for self –improvement, you literally have provided them a real “happy” meal.

Thank You! This is a partial cost to the whole culmination of learning for one student leader. Partial in our world is still a great deal to a future student leader who is destined to innovate, change, and lead in today’s world.

Thank You! One student is now gifted with a million other opportunities as you have given a large chance to be part of the best leadership program for women’s development in the community.
