Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Rebel Venture Fund is UNLV’s very own student-led venture capital group that invests real money into startup companies for the purposes of helping the company grow and enhancing the Southern Nevada business community.
The Rebel Venture Fund creates a vital learning opportunity for students with interests in entrepreneurship, tech or venture capital. Students can enhance their classroom learning through application of classroom-taught practices within a real world environment. Participating in the Rebel Venture Fund reinforces skills while building new ones through "learning by doing."
To continue the growth and successful experiences that students receive through their involvement in the group, the Rebel Venture Fund is seeking your help. Your donation will allow students to attend conferences that will give them opportunities to learn from and network with experienced angel investors. Additionally, your donation will enable us to maintain our competitive edge by competing against other student venture capital funds.
The money raised will be used to send students to the Angel Capital Associations West Coast Syndication meeting in California and the Student Venture Capital Summit in North Dakota. Additionally, it will be used to send a team of our best students to compete in the 2017 Undergraduate Venture Capital Investment Competition in California.
Every dollar donated will help students attend events that will enhance their college experience and help the Rebel Venture Fund make better investments in Southern Nevada businesses and Community. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
