Everyone - now that UNLV's Fall 2016 semester is underway, I wanted to reach out to you one final time to say Thank You! again and to let you know that the project moved forward! Our wonderful folks at the Lied Library formed a partnership with me and provided the remaining funding to make this project happen in full, as it was originally envisioned!
That means that as I write this, the library has four gaming consoles and a collection of games for use first as course reserves for my students. The goal is that, as word gets out about the project, we will be able to expand this and access across the campus! I am very excited to see how gaming in courses at UNLV will continue to unfold! My very best!
Everyone - Thank you again for your generous support of my Rebel Raiser campaign. While we did not raise all the intended funds, never fear. We aren't in bad shape :) What it will most likely mean is that instead of the original goal of 4 consoles, I will be able to purchase 2 or 3, depending on pricing. So the campaign, in my eyes, is still a success and we've accomplished most of what we set out to do. Once the equipment is purchased, I'll update again with pictures.
I want to reach out to all of you who have donated and give you a heartfelt thanks. I appreciate that so many of you believe in this project and believe in the work I am doing with digital storytelling!

A gift of $50.00 covers the cost of extra cable sets to hook up the Playstations! We’re that much closer to our goal!
A gift of $100.00 covers the cost of three of the four needed carrying cases for the Playstations. The library will be able to pack each Playstation along with its controllers and cables in a sturdy carrying case that will facilitate checking out the item, while also protecting it from dings and harm.
