This fall will mark UNLV HOPE Scholars' fourth year. There are 12 students in the program entering either their sophomore, junior, or senior year. We are excited to have our first group of seniors and are incredibly proud of the journey they've experienced these last three years at UNLV. All of our scholars continue to work toward their dream of a college education, making new friends, working on campus and succeeding thanks to the generosity of so many community members. Now these same students are asking you to help the next cohort of UNLV HOPE Scholars achieve that same dream. We are hoping to admit 6 new students to the program this fall.
The program is a partnership between Title I HOPE of the Clark County School District, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY), Desert Sage Auxiliary and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The program is specifically designed to assist students who qualify as Unaccompanied Homeless Youth in Clark County, NV, secure year-round housing, academic and financial support, employment and counseling while attending UNLV.
Please help us assist the next generation of homeless youth join the UNLV community and achieve the dream of a college education.
Let's keep UNLV HOPE alive!
