UNLV Second Stage is UNLV's entirely student-run theatre company, and we are fundraising for our 2018-2019 season of shows!
Our mission is to provide student artists with a platform to explore their craft--as well as give the Las Vegas community access to quality theatre, FREE OF CHARGE! That's right, we don't charge admission to any of our productions!
Our 2018-2019 season of shows consists of the following titles: Assistance by Leslye Headland, The Summoning by Charlotte Ahlin, No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre, Speech and Debate by Stephen Karam, and The Misanthrope by Moliere.
Your TAX-DEDUCTIBLE donation will go towards:
- Performance rights! Many people may not know that performing a published work is not free to do, and authors and their publishing companies must be paid every time their play is performed--the average fee is $100 dollars per performance, which means $400-$500 per production.
- Design costs! Anything from sets, costumes, lighting--our goal is always to use what we have and borrow what we don't, but occasionally certain items must be purchased, and your donation will help us do that!
- Promotional materials! This includes posters, flyers, postcards, and any other number of ways we promote our shows around town.
We, as young artists, could not continue to do what we love without the generous support of those who donate--and we cannot thank you enough!
Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and performance dates for each of our upcoming shows!
