Description
Please help us welcome our new class of UNLV physical therapy students with a kit of necessary medical supplies. Many of our students are already stretched thin to make tuition payments, so asking them to buy medical supplies for their program can present financial hardships. By donating a kit of needed supplies, you are warmly welcoming a new student into the physical therapy profession and allowing them to focus on their studies. Each kit includes items such as:
- a stethoscope
- a blood pressure cuff
- a gait belt
- a pulse oximeter
- two inclinometers
- a reflex hammer
- a carrying case
Dr. Constantine George, founder of the Association for Hospitality in Healthcare, is providing the lead gift by purchasing the stethoscopes, but we need to raise an additional $10,000 to provide all of the supplies to each of our incoming students. For $200, you can welcome a student with a kit and a personal note. Please consider including your contact information if you'd like the student to reach out to you. They hope to go where you already are. Inspire them with your generosity and your story! Thank you for helping the next generation.
We would love to include a personal note from you in the kit a student receives. Email your message for a student to Rae.Baldwin@unlv.edu, and we will print your message and include it in the kit a student receives.
